Based on the success of our shikishi display wall at summer conventions to celebrate our 10th anniversary of Shojo Beat last year, VIZ Media did the same to celebrate its 30th anniversary this year. There were new shikishi up by Shojo Beat mangaka in that display to enjoy.

Early on in the year I posted the second half of my long interview with Arina Tanemura. There are many new discoveries in that interview, so check it out!

From time to time I post polls on Twitter, and by far my favorite from this past year was the “Becoming a New Shojo Beat Heroine” because of all the great responses from you!

I also finally made a FAQ for Tumblr, which I hope has helped you guys find general information without having to hunt around too much.
